In this work, you will assemble a Lego EV3 model of a Tyrannosaurus. To assemble the model, you will need 1 basic Lego EV3 set. Tyrannosaurus has only 1 large servo motor. At the same time, he knows how to walk back and forth and moves his front paws. The movement of the paws is carried out using a crank mechanism and a gear transmission. The head can turn when walking left and right under its own weight by inertia. Also, the robot can click its mouth (with sharp turns and without the participation of the motor).
The head is pivotally connected to the neck with a single pin. The lower jaw is mobile. The tail acts as an additional support and will not allow the model to tip over backwards.
This model can be used in several competitions. Tyrannosaurus can be a soccer player or participate in sumo. Effective power on the motor, at which the robot moves forward confidently – is from 75% and more.
