In this lesson, we will assemble a model of a walking android robot from the Lego Education Spike Prime constructor, which can move forward, backward and turn around on the spot. The model has a distance sensor and a color sensor.
Androids (from Greek. “andros” is a person, and the suffix “oid” is similar) are humanoid robots that borrow elements of the structure of the human body. The term has been widely used in popular science literature since the end of the XIX century. In some works, these were electromechanical machines resembling a person. In other works, androids were completely organic humanoid creatures created artificially.
