Description
Pinball is an arcade game in which the player controls levers (in the game they are called flippers) to launch the ball across the playing field. Arcade games are games originally developed for slot machines, i.e. short and fairly simple in plot (arcade — a vaulted gallery of shops, where slot machines were located).
The pinball game has quite a long history, starting from the early forms of this game, which appeared in Europe in the 18th century. However, the most common form of the pinball game was invented in the United States in the 1930s. Until the widespread use of computers, this game was played in electronic slot machines.
Pinball first appeared as a computer game in 1995. It was “Full Tilt! Pinball”. The most widely used version of “3D Pinball for Windows: Space Cadet” – it became a built-in game for Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows XP. The developer is David Plummer.
In this work, you will try to create your own pinball game from the Lego Spike Prime constructor. There will be many different mechanisms in the design – levers and gears. The mechanisms are controlled programmatically. The game uses two sensors. The ball, flying through the color sensor, knocks out 1 point. If the ball flew through the flippers into the goal, the distance sensor will register it and finish the current mission.
